The treatment and care provided by Dr D. Brusco was excellent and extremely skilled. I always felt very comfortable in his practice and appreciated the friendliness and courtesy of all his staff as well. I was also pleasantly surprised by his schedule, as I hardly had to wait.
In an initial detailed consultation, we record your concerns and discuss various options to achieve your desired goal. After a careful clinical examination, supplemented by the necessary 3D X-rays, portrait photos and models, a treatment proposal is drawn up, which is backed up with a corresponding cost breakdown.
After a detailed discussion of all the advantages and disadvantages, alternatives and implications, an operation date can usually be offered promptly. Follow-up visits take place at regular intervals depending on the situation, usually after one, two and four weeks and after six months.
Throughout the entire treatment process, you have the reassurance of being personally and expertly cared for by the surgeon – something that only a private practice can guarantee.
The costs that are likely to be incurred are always shown transparently and are already discussed during the initial consultation. Since functional oral surgery treatment always takes place at the interface with dentistry, a prior written cost clarification with the relevant health insurance company is always necessary, which we naturally take care of for you as part of the treatment planning.
In the case of pronounced jaw malformation, the conditions for cost coverage by the disability insurance are sometimes met. The referring orthodontist can usually provide information about this in advance. The costs of aesthetically motivated treatment, on the other hand, is never covered by insurance.
We carry out minor, localised procedures under local anaesthesia in our treatment room. Outpatient procedures under general anaesthesia can be performed in our certified practice operating theatre with subsequent monitoring in our comfortable patient room, where you will be cared for by an experienced anaesthetist and an anaesthetic nurse from admission to discharge.
For major inpatient procedures, we can offer access to the neighbouring Klinik Pyramide am See or various other private clinics at which we are accredited, according to your needs.
