Oral surgery

Dental surgery (oral surgery) includes, among other things, the removal of wisdom teeth, the ligation of impacted canines, the identification and treatment of changes in the oral mucosa and bone as well as cysts and other neoplasms. This also includes bone augmentation before implant restoration and the acceleration of tooth position correction by corticotomy (Wilckodontics).

Mimic wrinkles such as frown lines or crow’s feet can be specifically treated using injectable substances that temporarily affect the contractility of the muscles. For the initial consultation, we take one hour to calmly discuss your concerns, the various treatment options and the associated implications. An online consultation can be arranged for international patients. Email enquiries will be answered within 48 hours.

Once treatment planning has been completed, we can usually offer a suitable operation date within a few weeks. Outpatient procedures are performed in our practice premises. Inpatient procedures are usually performed at the Klinik Pyramide am See.

For outpatient procedures, you will be cared for in our comfortable patient room by an experienced anaesthesia team until you are discharged. For inpatient operations, you will enjoy all the amenities of a renowned private clinic.

Follow-up appointments are arranged at regular intervals, depending on the situation, progress and your needs. They usually take place after one, two and four weeks, and then after six months.

1. Do you also offer free advice?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer free consultations. If the treatment costs are not covered by insurance anyway, we charge CHF 200 for a detailed initial consultation, which will, however, be credited to you if you are subsequently able to decide on treatment with us.

2. Do you also offer purely dental services?

We only offer surgical services, i.e. no fillings, prosthetics or implantology. However, if you wish, we can recommend experienced colleagues in our network for the respective treatment.

3. Do I need a referral for an appointment?

A consultation can be arranged at any time without a referral. However, if you have been referred to us by a colleague, relevant previous findings, information and, if applicable, X-rays are more than welcome.
