Wrinkle treatments

Individual
treatment strategy

Mimic wrinkles such as frown lines or crow’s feet can be specifically treated using injectable substances that temporarily affect the contractility of the muscles.

With the help of hyaluronic acid fillers and skin boosters, the body’s own production of collagen in the deeper layers of the skin and subcutis can be specifically stimulated. This can regain lost volume and help the skin maintain its natural elasticity and tone.

Once the diagnosis has been made, we offer a treatment that is individually tailored to you and your needs, which respects the different regions and anatomical units of the face and includes the targeted use of various preparations and techniques.

This is usually implemented gradually with the aim of carefully approaching the desired result and preserving the greatest possible degree of naturalness and unique radiance.

Frequently asked questions

In experienced hands and with knowledge of the relevant anatomy of the face, such treatments are considered low-risk, which partly explains their widespread popularity

Slight swelling and, rarely, small bruises may occur during treatments with skin boosters and fillers, but they are generally not a problem. Allergic reactions are fortunately very rare, but as with any other drug, they can never be completely ruled out.

In principle, skin booster and filler treatments have an immediate effect, which is further increased over the course of the treatment by the stimulation of the body’s own collagen synthesis.

The substances for modulating facial expressions, on the other hand, take a few days to start working and only develop their full effect after 10–14 days.

However, it is often advisable to apply the various substances in several sessions in order to slowly and gradually approach the desired result and achieve a natural result without looking obviously treated or even “overdone”.

All substances used are introduced with the smallest possible cannula, sometime even with a blunt tip. Since most fillers also contain a local anaesthetic, pain during treatment is not a major concern and is easily bearable.

However, for particularly sensitive regions, surface anaesthesia or even a small local anaesthetic can be used without any problems if desired.
